If it sounds too good to be true probably is, so it makes sense to stay way. Though I don't exclude to be rare cases where something is too good and also true, in most of the cases it does not happen.
If they tell you that no work is required and everything is automated, then the only thing they automated is to take the money from you. After all if there is nothing to do then what do they want you for?
